About Magnolia Gardens
Senior Living & Memory Care
Set among beautiful fir and magnolia trees, Magnolia Gardens Senior Living and Memory Care is the perfect place to call home. We offer the independence of apartment living with the security and support of an expertly-trained staff. We are committed to quality care, home-cooked meals, and being a part of the Cottage Grove, Oregon community.
We feature a very home-like environment with enclosed courtyards and living spaces for reading, billiards, group gatherings, music, and much more. You can be as active or relaxed as you wish—live life at your own pace!
Working at Magnolia Gardens years ago and now bringing it under the wing of our communities feels surreal. My name is Doug Sproul, and I am blessed to be the president of Mosaic Management. Some of my greatest joys are anchored in my faith, commitment to service, and—most of all, my family. One evening shortly after my career in this industry began, I looked at my wife and said, “I am finally home.”
I often think back to that day in 1995 and express gratitude for the opportunities I was afforded. Specifically, I am delighted to work with such incredible residents, staff, vendors, and share-holders. Each day is an adventure to find the best ways to serve this community. Some of us are not meant to follow the crowd. Join us in calling Magnolia Gardens “home.”
I have been involved in the senior industry since 2008 as a business office manager, human resource manager, interim executive director and executive director. I am honored to be the Executive Director of Magnolia Gardens Senior Living and have the privilege of spending time daily with the most remarkable and resilient generation of people! I am blessed on my journey to be surrounded by a chosen team of dedicated, compassionate, loving staff who give selflessly every day to bring joy and meaning to the lives of those we serve. Visit Magnolia Gardens Senior Living and experience extraordinary!
I have lived in the Cottage Grove area for over 15 years now. I joined the fight against Alzheimer’s in 2011, when I began working with those affected. Dementia care quickly became a passion for me, and I enjoy raising awareness while teaching others how to help them thrive with the disease, instead of suffering from it. In my free time I enjoy baking, being outdoors and gardening. My husband and I were blessed with a sweet little girl in March of 2017 and her smile reminds me every day how important it is to be working towards a world without Alzheimer’s.
